His Medal Index Card states that first enlisted as Private 7821 in the 1/4th Royal Welsh Fusiliers and landed in France 15 March 1915. Later, he was transferred to the MGC. He probably enlisted the same time as his brother Thomas, in November 1914.
Frank was born 12th October 1893 and baptised 12th November. He attended Hanmer school.

He married Mary Elizabeth (Silvester 1921?) with whom he is living in 1939 at Penley Bank, working as a Horseman on a farm. His two children, Violet & Frank Lloyd are also with them.
Frank died 26th December 1990 and his funeral was at Penley

According to his War Badge details, he enlisted 17th November 1917 and was discharged from the 4th Battn., R.W.F. on 7th December 1917 due to wounds, aged 22.
Thomas was born 12th April 1895 in Bronington, baptised 19th April. Like his brothers, he attended Hanmer school.
