Lance Corporal 69261 Harry Chase, 14th R.W.F.
Harry (registered as Henry) was born 14th November 1888 in Whitchurch, to parents William & Sarah. He was baptised in Whitchurch 5th December and grew up in Alkington, Whitchurch.
In 1911 he is with his parents & brother Fred in Alkington, Whitchurch, working as a Wagonner.
He married Edith Mary Suckley in 1914 and in 1939 they are together at The Dingles Farm, Halghton.
He died 29th July 1957 and is buried in Hanmer Churchyard with his wife.
