John was born 9th October 1891 in the Tallarn Green/Iscoyd area to single mother Rebecca. He was baptised 15th November 1891 in Threapwood.

  • 1901 with his uncle & aunt (William & Deborah Davies) at Pandy Yard, Halghton
  • 1911 with a different uncle & aunt (Richard & Harriet Leadsome), working as a farm labourer at their home, Park Lane Farm, Penley

He married Martha A Edwards Jan qtr. 1921, Ellesmere district and in 1939 they are living at Glendale, Bangor on Dee with inferred son John D.

John died June qtr 1954.
