Private William Fox; 6034 9th Battn. Welsh Regiment
William was born 5th June 1882 at Grindley Brook, near Whitchurch, to parents John & Ann Fox. He was baptised in Whitchurch 30th June 1882.
In 1901, he was working as a general labourer, living with his parents & siblings at Tybroughton.
In 1911, he is with his brother in law & family at Shocklach working as a cowman.
He married Ada Dulson of Threapwood in 1913 and by 1939 they are living at Council Holding, Fenns Bank with their son Wilfred. William is a dairy farmer.
He was engaged in agriculture most of his life and spent many of his later years at Park Farm, Old Fenns Hall, Fenns Bank.
He died 23rd January 1973 and is buried at Bronington with his wife Ada.
