Harry was born 27th November 1880 and baptised in St Chad’s on 26th December. Like his brothers, he attended Hanmer school.
1881 and 1891 census: with his parents & siblings in Hanmer.
1901 census: working as a Grocer’s assistant in High Street, Whitchurch
1911 census: lodging in Market Drayton still working as a Grocer.
Possible marriage to Jane Ryder Sept qtr 1911 Mkt Drayton
1939 he has his own Grocer’s business and is living in Pipegate, Market Drayton with inferred wife Jane. His son William H is now helping him in the family business.
He died 1st May 1960 (probate details on Ancestry)

Corporal 03474 Joseph Edge Army Ordnance Corps
His Medal Index card states that he entered theatre of war 26 (Balkans) on 2nd December 1915 and was demobilised to Army Reserve Class Z on 18th July 1919.
Joseph was born in Hanmer 8th August 1883 and baptised 9th September in St Chad’s. He attended the local school from July 1988.
1901 census : living at home and working as a joiner’s apprentice.
1911 census: in Great Hales, Market Drayton working as a Wheelwright.
1939 census: with inferred wife Sarah, living at The Big Arrowry, Hanmer: Joseph’s occupation is now described as a Master Wheelwright.
He died 1960 and is buried in Hanmer with his wife Sarah.
His funeral was reported in the Whitchurch Herald:

John was born 22nd April 1888 and baptised in St Chad’s on 10th June 1888. He attended Hanmer school.
1891 census: Hanmer with parents & brothers
1901 census: Hanmer Village working as a Joiner’s Apprentice like his brother
1911 ??
John married Elizabeth Morris, December 28th 1914 in Llandudno, Caernarfonshire. Occupation recorded as a Chauffer.
1919 Absent Voters List gives address as The Cumbers, like his brother Joseph.
1921 census: aged 33 at The Cumbers, Hanmer with his parents, wife Elizabeth and a baby son John. Occupation recorded as Motor Driver. This census tells us that his wife Elizabeth was born in Merthyr Tydfil. Also with them is Margaret Olwen Morris, aged 20 likely related to Elizabeth.
1939 census: with wife Elizabeth in Caernarfon, working as a General Labourer (birth date agrees with Hanmer school records).
John died Mar qtr 1960, Caernarfon district.
Note: There is a John Thomas Edge, born abt 1888, buried in Hanmer with wife Mabel Emily and many Ancestry trees have incorrectly connected him to this family. However, I have checked his obit and it states that this man was born & raised in the Lyneal/Welshampton area & married Mabel Emily Allen of Tarts Farm in 1913.
